Thank you for your email. It has been a very pleasant experience when talking with you and Andy over the phone, and reading your emails. It's not like dealing with a sales person or business owner, but like talking with good friends, which has done away with my uneaseness. I just can't help telling you my gratitude on getting the wonderful violin from you. When I first opened the case and looked at the violin, wow!... Just what I had been dreaming! | I have wanted to play the violin for years. I tossed around the idea of purchasing one pretty much all last year, saved up my money, and finally got one in December. It was the Amati Etude violin. I am 29 years old, never played any kind of instument, and know almost nothing about music. I looked around for a few months and finally found a good place near my home to take lessons. | I received the D.Albert today. I must say I fully expected to be going back and forth before settling on the right instrument, particularly buying online. But you hit it right on the head with your recommendation. I played through Mozart 3 and some Bruch and even braved the first few measures of Don Juan and this D.Albert has a very full rich sound on the E, and a deep throaty voice on the lower strings, albeit still focused and sculpted even in the upper positions.

Not only do I love the color, fit, and finish of the instrument, but I was suprised with the tone as well.
It has the power and projection of my old pre-1890 violin, but it also has a warmer and deeper tone that the old instrument cannot match.

| I received the Violin yesterday, in perfect condition. This thing is
beautiful, I am a woodworker and turner and I like to build with exotic and highly figured woods, so I am one who can appreciate something like this. The Maple is extraordinary, the Spruce is of such outstanding quality, straight grain, symmetrically matched. This is a work of fine art and craftsmanship, something intangible that comes from the care of the craftsman who built it.
On playing it well, I am such a relative beginner I can only give my
impressions. Large projecting sound, very little bow pressure needed, very responsive, light agile responsive bow.
I only hope I can do this instrument justice as I progress. I am glad I bought it now, because I was developing some bad habits trying to force my old Violin to produce any sound at all.

I just received my violin... It's amazing. Cosmetically, it's as if you read my mind. The color and the antique finish is just what I wanted, and The boxwood fittings are the exact style that I wanted (especially the heart-shape pegs). Thanks very much for the extra accessories. You didn't have to add them and that shows that you are interested in providing your customer with not only a quality product, but a good feeling with the whole experience. I didn't think that it was reasonable with my lack of playing experience and pocket book funds to own a beautiful instrument like this but your payment plan has made it a reality. Thanks again....
