I received the D.Albert today. I must say I fully expected to be going back and forth before settling on the right instrument, particularly buying online. But you hit it right on the head with your recommendation. I played through Mozart 3 and some Bruch and even braved the first few measures of Don Juan and this D.Albert has a very full rich sound on the E, and a deep throaty voice on the lower strings, albeit still focused and sculpted even in the upper positions.
This really has been an exceptional buying experience, and over the internet of all places. I think this is definitely a keeper.

I received the Violin yesterday, in perfect condition. This thing is
beautiful, I am a woodworker and turner and I like to build with exotic and highly figured woods, so I am one who can appreciate something like this. The Maple is extraordinary, the Spruce is of such outstanding quality, straight grain, symmetrically matched. This is a work of fine art and craftsmanship, something intangible that comes from the care of the craftsman who built it.
On playing it well, I am such a relative beginner I can only give my
impressions. Large projecting sound, very little bow pressure needed, very responsive, light agile responsive bow.
I only hope I can do this instrument justice as I progress. I am glad I bought it now, because I was developing some bad habits trying to force my old Violin to produce any sound at all.

My daughter, wife and I are very happy with our purchase of a Regency music stand, walnut color. We wanted a wood stand that would look nice in our home(not cheap) but we did not want to (yet) spend hundreds of dollars. I shopped around, and after visiting your shop, I felt it was easily the best value around. After seven months of use so far it seems to be of a good quality and works well. When played through my Roland JC 90, it gets a phenomenal sound! The carbon bow is stiff (my preference)and adequate for electric playing...I played with various blues/rock/country bands over the past twenty years and can't wait to use the Spitfire!

Thank you so much for the Viola you sent to my son, Jason. We had a couple of conversations with John as to what we were looking for. We listened to John play a few Viola’s over the phone. The first one Jason received was not quite what he was looking for. We spoke with John again and my son explained the type of sound he needed to hear. Jason was amazed with the sound that came from this instrument. He played it for hours after receiving it and smiles broadly whenever he puts bow to string. Hello again.
I´m back from USA. I had a great time in Minot, mostly because of the
wonderful instrument I got the day after i arrived. Because of the 7 hour
difference in time,I woke up early, and the first night after I recieved the
bass, I played four hours before breakfast. (I hope nobody saw me standing
there in the middle of the night in my underwear and headphones, playing
bass.) I brought with me a small pocketamp and therefore I could practise at
the hotelroom. In fact I became so familiar with it that I used it on the
last show. I normaly use a fivestring Neucerbass with frets. This one is allso
handmade in Tchekkia. As you maybe can understand, I´m very satisfied with
the instrument, and your service was just excellent. Everything happened
exactly as we agreed. If I´m going to play concerts in Minneapolis again (I
did, two years ago) I would like to visit your company.

Just for your information, I wanted to write and express how well the new
Steinberger electric double bass is working for me! I have the Czech model,
four string with both magnetic & bridge piezo pickups. The instrument has been
well received by fellow musicians, peers and audiences. It is now my primary
instrument for most occasions, and I have a hard time putting it down after
rehearsals.
Thanks for making this great piece available. Like any electric instrument that
attempts to emulate its acoustic counterpart, there are certain trade-offs, but
Ned S. nailed it on this one and made some very smart design choices. I love
playing it.

The color and the antique finish is just what I wanted, and The boxwood fittings are the exact style that I wanted (especially the heart-shape pegs). Thanks very much for the extra accessories. You didn't have to add them and that shows that you are interested in providing your customer with not only a quality product, but a good feeling with the whole experience.
