| This violin is a meticulous reproduction from the golden period of Antonius Stradivarius, the famous " Hochstein" violin of 1715. The creation of these violins started with the cutting of the finest high altitude Spruce and Maple over 50 years ago. The wood was then air dried in the Mediterranean breezes for decades. High quality Spruce was hand selected for the top, and rare, highly flamed Maple was carefully selected for the back, sides, and neck. Every detail of this violin was determined by careful study of the "Hochstein" Stradivarius. Master crafted in the shop of Rigidio Riva, hand finished in every detail by Andrew Fein. A fine violin capable of meeting the needs of the most advanced players. Concert quality in every aspect, with carrying power, sustain, a warm tone, balance, and masterful response.
